Marie-Eve Dompierre's Or collection, (French for "gold"), is true porcelain, fired once with a translucent glaze, and then a second time with a 22 karat gold glaze. These bowls are made almost to perfection - each bowl is wheel thrown to a clean form, then the rim is given organic cuts that appear to bleed with gold. If you're wondering if you can bear to use these specimens every day...yes, you can. They are meant to elevate your daily meals, as well as your special ones.
Each bowl measures about 6" x 3 1/8". Each pieces is made by hand, so dimension may vary slightly.
Because these pieces contain metal, they are not microwavable. Wash with care to preserve the gold edge.
